We walked over to Universal Studios next, but didn't have a lot of time to be spending there. We had about an hour, so we figured we'd run in, hit a few of the best rides, then leave. I was thristy, so I popped into a gift shop to get a bottle of Coke. Thinking I could just hold onto it during the ride, we got in line for Mummy, which had no line.

When we boarded, I wedged the bottle between my back and the side of the seat. Well, as soon as we hit the first drop, the bottle went flying! I didn't remember the ride being so forceful and snatching me up out of my seat so hard, else I would have held onto my freshly purchased Coke!
We quickly hightailed it over to Men in Black after the ride, but found it closed temporarily. So we went over to the ET Adventure instead.

Again, there was no wait, so we were in and out very quickly. I love the smell of the ET building...every now and then I will smell something similar and think "That smells like ET!"

At this point, Kim left to pick up a cake for the party that night, and I went back over to Men in Black.

It was open this time, so I went in the single rider line. Of course it wasn't necessary, but it meant that I got to skip the lengthy queue and preshow! I was the only one in the loading area, and the girl who was loading tried to get me to sit with another family while she dispatched some vehicles empty.

Solo ride!
I asked if I could ride by myself, and she seemed a little shocked at the request (like "Why on earth would you want to ride alone?") but she let me anyway.

My score was pathetic! But I still got to see the "last suit I'll ever wear" ending because it was still relatively high.
I decided to leave the park at that point, so I headed back out into City Walk. On the way, I passed a "catch a ping pong ball in a net" game, and decided to give it a go. I just paid to play one time, and as soon as I caught a ball, it was one of the "pick any prize" balls! My first instinct was to get a penguin from Madagascar, but when I asked if I could feel one of them, they were filled with the styrofoam filling and were very hard...not cuddly at all! So I opted for the next nicest prize, which was a rainbow parrot on a perch. I went back to Margaritaville to get my souvenir glass, then went to my car.
I called Charlotte to ask what they wanted me to bring to the party, and she said if I could bring a bottle of regular Coke, that was all they'd need. So I stopped at the same Walgreens as the night before and picked up a bottle of Coke. I figured that when I arrived at Old Key West, I'd have to tell them the reason I was there, but I was just waved on through security with a friendly "Welcome Home!" Pop Century makes you show your room key even when you have a valid parking pass! Kevin and Tony said they also encountered the same lack of questioning when arriving.

Kim and Kevin at Jan and Charlotte's party
The party was already swinging when I got there, and there were tons of people there! And there was tons of food...OMG there was so much food! Jan and Charlotte had spent the day preparing for everyone, and it showed! There were all sorts of cookies and sweets, nuts, cheeses, chicken wings, little pieces of bruscetta with all kinds of stuff all over them, and Allison was making quesadillas. Then of course there was Kim's cake, and multiple huge bottles of wine! We all ate and drank til we were stuffed and there was still plenty left.

Party host Charlotte and Donna
Near the end of the night, Kevin brought out his DVDs of some of his plays, so we all got a chance to watch a little bit of him in action. Lots of people had the same response..."Wow...you're actually good!" hahaha As the night wound to a close, there were quite a few teary goodbyes as people parted ways and went back to their respective hotels. Most people were leaving the next day, but Kevin and I were off to Busch Gardens Tampa on our last day in Orlando. Kevin rode back with me to the hotel, and when we got there, I was wanting a frozen drink! So I grabbed our mugs and headed off to the food court. Well, when I got there, all the frozen drink machines had been cleaned out for the night! Booo! So I filled up with Sprite, and filled Kevin's with hot tea, then went back to the room. I didn't stay up much later, since it was gonna be a fairly early morning the next day.
